Organic Dried Mango

Fairtrade organic dried mango is the perfect addition to healthy lunchboxes and great food for walking or taking camping. We use both Amelie variety, known for their bright vibrant colour, tart and tangy in taste and chewy in bite, and Brooks variety which is more sweet and subtle in taste. Once opened, store the mango in an airtight container and it will last for ages. The dried mangoes are 100% free from preservatives or added sugars. 30g of our mango slices make up one of your 5 a day portions of fruit. Dried mango is also a source of dietary fibre. 4 Pack contains four 100g bags (400g total). 14 Pack contains fourteen 100g bags (1.4kg total). Bargain Bulk Bag contains one 2kg bag.

Our Organic and Fairtrade mango is so delicious that this year we sold our entire harvest allocation before new harvest stocks had arrived. To avoid out of stocks until the new harvest arrives we purchased a small amount of organic non-Fairtrade mango under FLO's product compensation rules. To compensate for this we will sell some of our new Fairtrade mango to a non certified customer.

We don't like doing this but in these circumstances we felt that keeping the lovely mango bags on shelf benefits the producer groups we buy from in the long term. We hope you understand and we look forward to fresh harvest stocks arriving in mid-September.

West African mango growers

We’re inspired by Gebana, our primary partner for these mangoes. Gebana is one of the largest alternative traders in the world, consistently taking risks to support small farmers and help them gain control in the market. In Burkina Faso, the farmers who grow the mangoes are organized into co-ops and the factory, owned by Gebana, employs hundreds of local workers. These endeavours help the farming communities build a better economic future.

Roasting Block Goes Here

At our solar-powered roastery in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, our worker-owner team batch roasts and conducts production cuppings daily to bring out the best characteristics in each harvest. With four primary roast levels, we think there’s a favorite here for everyone. Obviously this needs to be updated for UK roasting.

Medium Roast: expect the unique citrus, nutty, fruity, or floral notes of each coffee to shine through.

Full City Roast: you’ll get a bit more of the caramel flavor that comes from the roasting process.

Vienna Roast: starts to bring the smoky aroma and smooth and rich body of a darker roast.

French Roast: with the natural oils fully expressed, it’s an intensely dark and smoky experience akin to dark chocolate.
